Print Options and Information
There are several options to choose from when it comes to having images printed. The biggest choice is between photo paper and fine art paper. Fine Art Paper implies a paper which is created using cotton fibers instead of a traditional cellulose base. As a result, the fine art paper is acid free which eliminates the concern of the paper yellowing over time. Photo paper will eventually yellow due to acid, inherent in the product, and is not considered archival. Both printing options use Canon Lucia Pro pigment ink, which is considered archival, with a predicted colorfastness of roughly 100 years, this of course is dependent greatly on the storage and display conditions of the print as well as the specific paper used. I use fine art paper produced by Hahnemuhle or Canson Infinity, both of which are premium paper manufacturers.
Print Sizes
I have selected a few of the most common size prints for purchase in the store. However, if you have an image that you would like printed larger or smaller than the available options, please reach out and we may very well be able to accommodate your request. We can also offer prints on canvas and aluminum in a variety of sizes, please email for more details.
Final Product vs Website Previews
Due to the vast quantity of Images uploaded to the website as previews for viewing, it is unrealistic to adjust every image for its best possible quality. However, rest assured that every image you order will be personally inspected to ensure the color is accurate, exposure is the best it can be, and overall quality is as we expect.
Sometimes, particularly for action shots, cropping may be necessary to produce a worthwhile preview image. When images are cropped the overall megapixel count of the image is reduced, as such, these images might not be suitable for the largest printing options. If this is the case for an image you select we will reach out directly to you and go over options available, including selecting another image, printing a smaller size, or cancelling and refunding your order in its entirety.
